Welcome to Baila Chilli Sauce. Having been born of Sri Lankan parents I love all Asian food.  I have made these sauces to have sting in the tail and pack plenty of flavour. They will definitely excite your taste buds and keep you coming back for more! My Sauces are incredibly versatile and can be used for Dipping, Marinating or Drizzling!

Baila is a ballad in which the poetry is of paramount importance. A ballad is a short poem suitable for singing which was originally intended to accompany a dance. The etymology of ballad is ballare (late Latin/Italian) meaning ‘to dance’. Today the Portuguese word bailar meaning ‘to dance’ is used in the context of a Ball; dançar means ‘to dance’

’I started out making this for our large family gatherings, giving away bottles each year as we all share a love for flavour! Over the years after becoming a huge favourite of the family, my daughter puts it on everything and my brother puts in porridge (not for everyone!) I was encouraged to take my passion further and let more people try the unique flavour of Baila Chilli Sauce!
